A bright opening, a lasting impulse.

The opening is driven by a clear orange note, sharpened with grapefruit and bergamot to keep it fresh, bright and energetic. Madagascar vanilla adds warmth, but never becomes too sweet the citrus keeps it clean and lifted.

A touch of Madagascar black pepper gives the fragrance structure and a masculine edge without overpowering it. Heliotrope and ambroxan create a lasting trail that is smooth and slightly powdery.

Tonka bean and musk sit quietly underneath, adding warmth, stability and depth.

Momentum smells fresh, warm and masculine, fast in the opening, lasting in the air.

The idea

Momentum was created from one clear challenge: making freshness last.

In perfumery, fresh scents are often bright but short-lived, while long-lasting fragrances tend to feel darker, heavier and warmer. Momentum was built to sit exactly between those worlds.

There is a moment when someone enters a room and leaves more than just a visual impression. Their presence stays, in the way they move, the way they carry themselves, and the scent that remains after they leave.

Momentum was made for that kind of impression.

Momentum is part of the first Maison Batu chapter, Arc of Light. It was chosen as an opening statement because it carries both worlds: the clarity of a fresh everyday scent and the presence of something more distinctive.

It is clean enough for the office, but not ordinary. Bright enough for daytime, yet warm and lasting enough to leave a defined trail. A fragrance with structure, charisma and its own kind of freshness.
